Prosecutors in South Korea have issued a warrant for the arrest of the head of Samsung
The head of Samsung is suspected of involvement in the scandal surrounding President Park Geun-Hye.
Prosecutors in South Korea have issued a warrant for the arrest of the head of Samsung Group Lee Jaena on suspicion of bribery.
The company is accused of bribes for a total amount of 43 billion won (about $36 million), friend of President Choi sung-SIL.
Prosecutors issued a warrant for the arrest must now be approved by the court.
Samsung denied the allegations by the prosecution.
We will remind, the Prosecutor’s office of South Korea have accused the country’s President Park Geun-Hye of involvement in corruption schemes.
In addition, in early November 2016 friend of the President, Choi sung-SIL, was arrested on suspicion of fraud and abuse of power. We also found out that Choi sung-SIL, which had no relation to the civil service rules all of the President’s speech.
9 December 2016, the South Korean Parliament voted for the announcement of impeachment to President Park Geun-Hye.
